Dydd Gwyl Dewi
On Friday 1st March we will be celebrating St David’s Day. All pupils are allowed to wear their own clothes for this special occasion, and the theme will be ‘Wear Wales day’. We would love students to celebrate by wearing any colour associated with Wales, red, green or yellow. Mind Cymru is an extremely useful charity within Wales and we have decided to raise money for this great cause. We are asking for any donations (more information to follow). There will also be other celebrations during the day such as: • Rugby tournament • Live music in the hall at lunch time • Cake baking competition on the theme of Wales (bring to G5 before RFL) • Football signed by the Welsh football squad (£1 needed for the raffle) • ‘Hen Wlad’ singing competition for Year 7, 8 and 9. • Food based on Wales in the canteen If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the school.
