This April members of year 13 completed a major expedition as part of their Uniformed Protective Services national extended certificate. The group travelled to Keswick in the Lake District and completed a range of adventurous activities including Wild Swimming, Mountain Walking, Climbing and Canyoning. They had to plan every aspect of the trip and train physically and mentally prior to the expedition. The week threw the most challenging weather that Lakeland could muster at the group, and they performed amazingly - snow isn't normal canyoning weather! Along the way each group member overcame personal challenges and developed some amazing leadership skills. They one of the first group in Wales to complete this unit and they have set the bar very high!
