Ed Holden visit
Pupils in Year 7 were very fortunate to work on a project with Ed Holden aka Mr Phormula recently. This is a project where pupils in the local schools are collaborating to create an original rap song in Welsh and English. The importance of this project is to encourage bilingualism by using the Welsh language in a new and exciting way. The pupils had the opportunity to listen to Ed beatbox and then their task was to compose and perform an original rap. Ed will be editing the song and a showcase will be held in school of all the different composition from the local schools. We will be sharing the song on social media in the next couple of weeks. A big thank you to Ed – the pupils had a fantastic time!
