Ed Holden rap video
It was fantastic to welcome Ed Holden aka Mr Phormula back to school to showcase the original song / rap the pupils created in Welsh and English. It was also fantastic to welcome Ysgol Bryncollen, Ysgol Carrog, Ysgol Caer Drewyn and Ysgol Llanarmon to Dinas Brân so they could also watch the finished music video. The pupils in Year 5 and 6 along with pupils from Year 7 had the opportunity to watch Ed beatbox, practice their beatboxing skills and play games. The highlight of the morning was to watch the finished music video with the original song that had created collaboratively. The project showed the importance of using the Welsh language along with their English skills in a fun modern way. It also highlighted the importance of being bilingual. Thank you to everyone that was part of the project.
