Composing with Mared Williams
Pupils from 7D and 8D were extremely fortunate to be part of an online composing session with the singer Mared Williams. Mared is a prominent singer-songwriter in the Welsh music industry and has released many songs on Spotify. She is currently in Les Misérables in the West End playing Eponine.
Under Mared’s guidance, the pupils worked as a team to compose a song discussing their love and appreciation of Wales. The pupil were then extremely lucky to listen to a live performance of the song accompanied with the melody Mared had composed.
All pupils enjoyed themselves, with many extremely keen to continue to compose even more songs in their Welsh lessons. Well done everybody and a big thank you to Mared.
