NSPCC Number Day
Today Blwyddyn 7 and 8 have been participating in the NSPCC Number Day! We have been taking part in Times Table Rockstars Number Day competition where students have been competing with schools across the United Kingdom to gain as many points as possible for their classes and the whole school. We have done well, with the whole school sitting in 3rd place for all secondary schools in Wales! Llongyfarchiadau i bawb! However, the competition is not over just yet. We have until 7:30pm tonight to participate. Certificates will be handed out to the winning class overall and the top three participants in each class. We have also kick started our Number Hunt today for Number Day. Students have been challenged to answer Maths questions and then hunt around the school for the answers they have found, where they will find a letter that matches their numbers. All sheets that are returned to the Maths department will be entered into a raffle for a prize! Pob lwc!
