On Tuesday 21st October, 14 Year 9 pupils visited Ty Pawb, Wrexham to explore the work of Welsh-Ghanaian textile artist Anya Paintsil, who grew up locally in Glyn Ceiriog. Pupils created observational drawings, explored textures and techniques through collage, and made fabric self-portraits inspired by Anya’s unique sewing style. A fantastic trip — full of creativity, curiosity, and inspiration!
