A Level Geography students had the opportunity to experience first hand Geography as taught by university lecturers. They attended an A Level Enrichment Day run by Aberystwyth University and held at St Richard Gwyn Catholic High School in Flint.

Our students took part in interactive sessions looking at three of the topics currently taught at A Level. They demonstrated skill and confidence when taking part in the sessions, and Eve was rewarded for her insightful and well thought out             contribution with her very own bright yellow Aberystwyth   University umbrella – which she has kindly donated to the Geography department for use on future field trips.

Our students were a credit to the school and as their teacher I was very proud of their knowledge, maturity and attitude throughout the session. All pupils received a certificate of  attendance which can be included on their future UCAS applications.

We look forward to this event becoming an annual activity as it was certainly beneficial for all.
